PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Wondering what to expect during the KPMG Lentemarathon Amstelveen?
You’ll receive the detailed version of the participant information in the week prior to the event. Below, you’ll read some practical information about your participation in the KPMG Lentemarathon Amstelveen.

Program
The program on Sunday, March 16, is as follows:
08:30h: Runners’ Village open
09:30h: KPMG Lentemarathon & Marathon Relay start (no later than 09:20 in the start box).
10:30h: Start KPMG Half Marathon (no later than 10:20 in the start box).
11:15h: Start Lentewalk organized by AV Startbaan & Amstelveen Sport (no later than 10:50 in the start box).
11:30h: Start Stadshart Amstelveen Kids Run.
12:00h: Start 5km (no later than 11:50 in the 5km start box).
13:15u: Start PUMA x DailyRun 10km (no later than 13:05 in the 10km start box).
15:30h: Last runners.

Road signage
While we strive to make the course as safe as possible, it is not completely closed to traffic, and not all roads are fully blocked. Please remain alert at all times, especially along the Amstel, where some local traffic may still be present.
How to follow the route?
✅ Barriers with banners will indicate the correct direction.
✅ Arrows on the ground will mark the path.
✅ No banner or arrow in sight? Continue straight ahead.
⚠️ Watch out for road conditions!
Sections of the route with uneven surfaces or narrow passages are clearly marked with warning signs. Please take extra care in these areas for your own safety and that of your fellow runners.

Bib numbers and running shirt received
Did you indicate during your registration that you want to receive your starting number? Then you might have received it already, it has to be delivered by POSTNL by March 7 at the latest.
If you have not indicated that you want your starting number to be sent to you, you can get your starting number from Tuesday, March 11 up to and including Saturday, March 15, 16:00h at DailyRun Amsterdamse Bos, Amsterdamseweg 507, 1181 BS Amstelveen or on the day of the event itself, from 8:30h, in the runners village at the Stadshart in Amstelveen.
Are you running via a company? Then the collection and distribution of the start numbers goes through your contact person. These will be ready at Day Foodbar on the day of the marathon.

Starting areas
To ensure a smooth and organized start, we use start areas A-H, assigned based on your expected finish time. Your start area is indicated on your race bib, so make sure to be in the correct area on time.
🔹 Marathon & Half Marathon
These runners can access their start area parallel to the finish area. The start will be in two waves: A-D first, followed by E-H. The waves will go off quickly in succession, so make sure you are ready at the start on time.
🔹 5 & 10 KM
You will reach the start via De Galerij. Walk past the library, along Het Fietshuys, and turn right before the Cobra Museum to enter the start.
We ensure that everyone gets off to a smooth and safe start.
Bib Number Transfer
- Click on ‘KPMG Lentemarathon Amstelveen 2025’ under registrations.
- Click on your name or distance, under ‘Your ticket’.
- Then click on ‘Details’ and choose ‘Transfer ticket’.
- Here, you select one of the three options and transfer your ticket to someone else.
NOTE: Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to send bib numbers to a different address. Therefore, you will need to arrange with the person taking over your ticket to receive your bib number themselves.
Accessibility for KPMG Lentemarathon
The runner’s village and the start/finish line are located at the Stadshart in Amstelveen.
Stadshart Amstelveen is accessible by tram, bus, bike, or car.
Adjacent to Stadshart Amstelveen is the bus stop “Amstelveen Busstation”. Numerous buses stop and depart from this stop in various directions. Additionally, Stadshart is easily accessible by tram 5 and tram 25 (please account for a 5-minute walk).
Parking is available in the parking garages. Please note: parking is paid.
Bicycles can be parked in designated bike racks.
Refreshment Stations
Along the course, you’ll find several refreshment stations. This year, the refreshment stations will provide water, fruit, and sports drinks from our partner Powerbar

Additionally, some refreshment stations will have toilets and medical stations available.
Changing Distance
Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to change your distance via your dashboard in Atleta. If you still wish to run a different distance, please send us an email at info@lentemarathon.nl.
Once you’ve contacted us, you’ll have the opportunity to pick up a new bib number at the race secretariat on the day of the KPMG Lentemarathon and run the distance that you’ve discussed with us.
PLEASE NOTE: It is only possible to downgrade your ticket to a shorter distance. Refunds are not possible in this case.
Clothing Drop-off
The clothing drop-off (at your own risk) for the KPMG Lentemarathon takes place in tents located in the runner’s village at Stadshart in Amstelveen. Clothing cannot be left in the starting area. The clothing drop-off is open from 08:30 to 16:00.
Furthermore, there are no changing rooms or showers available in the runner’s village.
Please note: the maximum bag size is 30 (L) x 20 (W) x 50 (H) and must be labeled with the sticker provided at the counter. Place the other sticker on your bib number.
Lockers
For a small fee of €9.50, you will have access to a locker with dimensions: 22cm height, 25cm width, and 50cm depth. These lockers are the perfect solution to safely store your valuables while you focus on the marathon.
How do I order my locker?
- Go to your account in Atleta and login.
- Click on ‘your registration’ and then on ‘Order Extras’.
- Click on ‘Add’ under the heading ‘Locker’ and complete your payment at the bottom of the page.
- You will receive your locker number and pin code two days before the event in your email.
Finish photo
At the finish line, you’ll receive your well-deserved medal. Additionally, you’ll be provided with water and a piece of fruit to aid in your recovery. Moreover, a great photo of you will be taken at the finish line, which you can later find online along with a certificate. Furthermore, you can purchase a complete package of photos through our partner Marathon-photos.com
Weather
he weather forecast for Sunday looks fantastic: sunny, with a temperature of 8°C and a light breeze (wind force 3) – perfect running conditions!
Clothing Tips:
✔️ Dress in layers to stay warm at the start and prevent overheating while running.
✔️ Wear breathable clothing and consider light gloves if you’re sensitive to the cold.
✔️ Don’t forget to apply sunscreen – the early spring sun can be surprisingly strong!

Relay Points for the Marathon Relay
Are you participating with your friends, family, and/or colleagues in the marathon relay during the KPMG Lentemarathon Amstelveen? Then this update is for you!
During the marathon relay, each team member runs a part of the marathon:
Runner 1 – 10km, Runner 2 – 7,4km, Runner 3 – 12,2km, Runner 4 – 11,9km, Team – 0,7km
The marathon relay starts at 09:30 AM at Stadshart Amstelveen. As the first runner, you must be in the general starting area no later than 09:20 AM. The relay points for the marathon relay are as follows, and the required ankle band can be collected at the race secretariat; this must be returned afterward:
10 km: Relay Point 1 (Oude Karselaan parking lot)
17,4 km: Relay Point 2 (AV Startbaan)
29 km: Relay Point 3 (Hollandse Dijk)
41.3 km: Relay Point 4 | entire team together (Handelsplein)
As a team, you will receive an ankle band to pass between runners at the relay points. It is entirely up to you which team member runs which distance and who will be at each relay point. This does not need to be communicated to the organization.
Transportation between points is your own responsibility. Please note that you may need to park your car or bike a bit further away as access roads to the event may be in use.
