Alderman for Care and Welfare, Marijn van Ballegooijen, said: “The Municipality of Amstelveen believes it is important that everyone can participate in sports and that all our residents can take part. That’s why we are delighted to offer our Amstelveen Pass holders the opportunity to run in this fantastic event for free. We hope many will take advantage of this offer.”

Running Training for the 5K
Amstelveen Pass holders with little or no running experience can also register. Starting in January, the municipality will organize weekly running training sessions specifically for this group. After completing the program, participants will be ready to run the 5K on March 16. This group can sign up until December 15. Those who do not need (additional) training can register until Friday, March 1, 2025.
