BIZ Amsterdamseweg partner 10km and organizes “party kilometer”

The KPMG Lentemarathon Amstelveen has added a wonderful distance partner: the BIZ (Company investment zone) Amsterdamseweg joins as distance partner of the 10K! Through this cooperation with the BIZ, the KPMG Lentemarathon can proudly announce that it has built an even closer connection with the local entrepreneurs and through shared forces, the event will be even greater than it already was!

Since the routes of the KPMG Lentemarathon all run along the Amsterdamseweg, it was a small step for the organization to start talking to the BIZ Amsterdamseweg. This resulted in a wonderful activation: the Amsterdamseweg will be fully dressed up in a party atmosphere. Besides the start/finish village in the Stadshart, the Amsterdamseweg Zuid will be the second place on the course where participants can celebrate for a bit while completing their personal challenge!

Peter Kluskens, BIZ Amsterdamseweg: “As a BIZ, we want to strengthen mutual cooperation. By organizing activities around the Lentemarathon, and specifically the 10K, we want to put the Amsterdamseweg on the map as a pleasant street with lots of variety and activity to give the runners extra energy. In addition, we also want to mobilize our connections to participate and invite their supporters to make this the best kilometer of the entire run.”

Roy van Damme, Lentemarathon organizer: “We can’t wait until March 19. When we sat down with the BIZ Amsterdamseweg, we quickly became enthusiastic about their plans to dress up their street for our run. We can’t reveal exactly what will happen yet, but as Peter said: a little extra energy is guaranteed!”
